X's and O's
Ten plays, and you are on offense for every one
of them. The farther you carry the ball, the more the play is worth.
- Call a play. Pick one from the playbook, and
choose a defense to face or leave it to chance.
- Snap the ball. Take as long as you like reading
the formation first.
- Throw or run. Hit a receiver, or keep it
yourself and see how far you get. You have ten seconds from
the snap to make up your mind, and holding on past that is
a sack.
On a keyboard: Space,
S or Q snaps the ball, C changes
the play before you do, A to D throw to
that receiver, and K keeps it. During a replay,
V or the arrow keys switch the view.
What a play is worth
- 5 past the first line
- 15 past the second
- 30 past the third
- 50 all the way across
- -5 sacked holding the ball
- -10 intercepted
Fifty a play is the most you can get, so
500 is a perfect game. Good luck.
